How To Join
Anyone, except a member of the press, is eligible to join a Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) standards committee. For members of CEA there is no charge to participate in CEA standards activities. For companies or individuals who are not members of CEA there is an annual fee for participation in CEA standards activities. Here's how to join:
CEA Members
Employees of companies that are members of the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) may create their own accounts and add themselves to any groups they would like to join. To create an account you must have a valid email address that uses an email domain (e.g., @yourcompany.com) that is associated with your company.
Non-CEA Members
People who do not work for companies that are members of CEA must contact us us for assistance to join a group. For non-members of CEA there is an annual fee for participation in CEA standards development activities. This fee is $1,000 per person per committee or subcommittee, and $250 per person for an unlimited number of working groups.
